Pick and Place Systems
Hanwha (formerly Samsung) develops advanced technology for pick and place equipment from concept to reality. Their R&D development is driven by their own need to produce a wide range of Samsung products as well as the needs of other manufactures building military, aerospace, medical, automotive, industrial and communication products.
SM Series
With 15,000 units sold since 2005 Hanwha’s SM Series pick and place systems are their best-selling medium speed flexible systems. SM Series systems have a wide component range including insertion of through hole components. With placement up to 78,000 CPH and 120 feeder capacity the SM Series can handle most applications.
DECAN S1
Next Generation Medium Speed Chip Mounter. As a chip mounter which was developed focusing on visible improvements, one of the three major indexes, this chip mounter provides the optimum productivity necessary for batch production. Improves actual productivity • Improves placement quality • Reduces loss rate.
SM485
The SM485 component placer machine is a wide range chip mounter that allows high-speed placement of small components as well as precise placement of odd-shaped components. With 4 sets of high-speed, wide-use spindles and 1 set of precision spindles with back-light system and force control function, the SM485 can place components from 0402 chips to 55 (L150 x W25 x H26mm) components. As an option, it is applicable to PCBs with sizes up to L740 x W460 (weight: 4.5kg). By applying various additional functions such as component verification and traceability, the SM485 provides an all-in-one solution that offers quality placement and management of chips to odd-shaped components, without adding an extra expensive machine.
